What this is

Secret Xmas organises a Secret Santa draw. You create a party, people join with a code, and the app assigns each person someone to buy for. Using the site means you accept these terms.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or over. If you are under 18, run your party with a parent or guardian who is happy for you to.

Your party, your responsibility

Anyone holding a party code can join that party, so share it only with the people you mean to invite. Names, wishlists and links you type are visible to the others in your party, so do not put anything there you would not want them to read.

Do not use the app to harass anyone, to post unlawful content, or to automate load against it. We may remove a party or block access if it is used that way.

Free and paid

A free party holds up to 12 people. The Organiser upgrade raises that to 100 and is a one-off payment, taken through SparkPay against the email you enter at checkout. Prices shown at checkout are the current ones.

If the upgrade does not apply to your party, tell us the party code and the email you paid with through the contact form and we will put it right or refund you.

Parties are temporary

Every party is deleted 45 days after it is created, along with everything in it. Save anything you want to keep, such as who you drew, before then. Deletion is by design and is not a fault.

No guarantee of availability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we are not liable for a spoiled surprise, a missed gift, or any loss arising from using it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
